Bear Hat
The bear hat pattern is a mixture of knit and crochet. The hat is knit while the ears are crochet. The crochet portion is in chart form along with written instructions. A light brown and dark brown bear hat can be made with the amount yarn suggested.

Gauge
Knitting: 24sts/ 36rows (16 sts/ 24 rows) = 4x4in/ 10x10 cm
stockinette with size 3/ 3.25mm (8/ 5.0mm) needles.
Crochet: 27sts/ 16rows (16sts/ 10rows) = 4x4 in/ 10x10cm
in double crochet with size B/ 2.25mm (G/ 4.0mm) hook.
Exact gauge is not crucial as long as the stitches are tight.
