Blue Footed Booby Hat

From July 1st to September 8th, all profits from the blue footed booby hat pattern will go towards Kenna's fundraising efforts for her walk in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For The Cure. The hat is knit from the brim up. The earflaps are picked up from the brim and knitted in one piece all the way down to the feet. The beak is attached separately.

14in/ 35.5cm (21in/ 53.5cm) circumference
Stretches to fit up to a 17in/ 43cm (24in/ 61cm) head
Length from brim to crown: 5in/ 12.7cm (7in/ 18cm)

Two black 9/16th inch/ 13mm buttons.

Adult: One skein of Cascade 220 Quatro, worsted weight,
220yds/ 200m, (100% Peruvian Highland Wool) in:
9540 (Charcoal Twist) MC
Adult: One skein of Cascade 220, worsted weight,
220yds/ 200m, (100% Peruvian Highland Wool) in:
8010 (Natural) CC, 4002 (Jet), 8906 (Blue Topaz)
Two black 3/4th inch / 19mm buttons

Needles/Hooks

Size 3/ 3.25mm circular needles 12in/ 30cm and dpns
(Size 8/ 5.0 mm circular needles 16in/ 40mm and dpns)
