Free Bees
Free Bees lazily drift around pollinating each and every flower.
These socks are knit toe up with shortrow toes and heels. The stitch pattern is adapted from Barbara Walker's Second Treasury of Patterns, pg. 273 : Honeybee Pattern with Faggoting.
Size
This sock can be adapted to any size. The socks in the picture are a Womens US 8.5 and the following measurements are:
8in/ 20.3cm from toe to heel
9in/ 22.9cm from heel to cuff
7in/ 17.8cm around ball of foot unstretched

One skein of Cascade Heritage, fingering weight,
437yds/ 400m, (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon) in:
5644 (Lemon)
Tapestry Needle, Measuring Tape,WasteYarn
Needles and Hooks
Size 0/ 2.0mm 12in/ 30.5mm circular needles
Size B/2.25mm hook (for provisional cast on)
Gauge
Blocked: 30sts/44rows = 4x4in/10x10 cm stockinette with size 0/ 2.0mm needles.
