Bear Hat
The bear hat pattern is a mixture of knit and crochet. The hat is knit while the ears are crochet. The crochet portion is in chart form along with written instructions. A light brown and dark brown bear hat can be made with the amount yarn suggested.

(Adult): Cascade Yarns Cascade 220;
220yds/ 200m; (100% Peruvian Highland Wool); worsted weight :
1 skein in 9557 Dark Chocolate; 1 skein in 8622 Camel
Needles/Hooks
Size 3/ 3.25mm, 12”/ 30cm circular needles
(Size 8/ 5.0 mm, 16”/ 40mm) circular needles
Or preferred small circular method.
Size B/ 2.25mm (G/ 4.0mm) crochet hook
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge
Knitting: 24sts/ 36rows (16sts/ 24 rows) = 4x4”/ 10x10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
Crochet: 27sts/ 16rows (16sts/ 10rows) = 4x4”/ 10x10cm in Double Crochet
Exact crochet gauge is not crucial as long as the stitches are tight.
